A charrette is a collaborative and creative process that brings together designers, key stakeholders, and other professionals to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
The project Intent was to produce three unique product design concepts that allow consumers to harvest, convert and store energy through innovative wearable devices, textile designs and industrial applications, pushing the limits of emerging technologies and their application to wearable devices, textile and industry.
During the Pre-Charrette Research, Planning & Engagement the Vitruvian team, faculty and students in consultation with EDF and the French partners conducted and synthesized an extensive research to develop 100 precedents of existing wearable devices, textile and industrial application as well as the charrette brief.

Team: Interaction Designers, UI/UX Designers, Design Thinkers
The international Charrette hosted in Toronto generated concepts that showcased how to utilize and apply emerging technologies to wearables, textiles and industrial applications that allow consumers to harvest, convert and store energy.
